History

Prior to 1992 the sports club consisted of “the Green Shed” which was used to hire equipment from together with a Club Room for the Bowling Club. There was also a putting green, bowling green and two concrete tennis courts. However in 1992 funding of £175,000 was raised by a number of organisations such as the Scottish Football Association (SFA) and the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) for the redevelopment of the area in to what we have now.  The new complex was opened on 11 July 1992 by Stirling Provost Pat Greenhill.  At the time Killin had a very successful amateur football team and a thriving bowling club, both of which used the facilities on a weekly basis. Unfortunately over time both of these clubs lost members and struggled to survive resulting in them both winding up.
